Andy Irvine and his Bands have produced more than 20 albums over the years and he has added that magical sound of his to countless albums. Among these albums you will find some of the finest examples of Irish and world music that have ever been recorded. Here are a few reviews of his contributions, my thoughts and my ramblings. These are my views only, and if you have any useful information on a recording, old magazine reviews, I would love to here from you.

We waited 5 years for this solo release, but worth it for sure ! Irish music, with a touch of Australia.

Andy Irvine and Paul Brady

This album still remains in the top 10 folk albums of all time.................you have to hear this album.

East Wind

Andy and Davy Spillane coming together for an album of Macedonian and Bulgarian music.

After the Break

This was one of the Planxty albums that set the world on fire, a truly great album by band.

Parallel Lines

Another classic. With Dick Gaughan and Andy Irvine coming together in force, how could it not be !
