Quite simply the best live performer I have seen to date. There is something about the atmosphere that Andy can create in his music, that is addictive. One minute the audience is laughing along with a song like ' The man that shot the dog', intranced by his wonderful Balkan tunes and the next minute, so quiet you could hear a pin drop for a song like 'The Highway Man '. It is an amazing acoustic experience.
These clips were taken during a concert in Galway, Ireland 2001. It was a fantastic night, and an experience that will stay with me for a very long time. I hope for the clips to improve in quality, as I get a bit more tech-minded. It is my first ever site so be patient, but if you ' save as target' you will get a bigger image. If you have a private video of Andy, I would love to add it to this site.................................I hope you enjoy them !
I will not and can not supply copies ( so please don't ask ), There maybe a Planxty Live DVD coming out soon, so wait for that. It will be better quality for sure!
