This product, vinegar, contains acetic and is perfect for ultra brite carpet tile cleaning.
To remove any type of stain, mix white vinegar with warm water. Apply it to the stain and let it air dry. After the vinegar-water mixture has dried completely, vacuum up the carpet. The stain should be completely removed. Vinegar also works well for machine cleaning. You can use vinegar and water to clean any carpet. White vinegar, a mild liquid soap and warm or lukewarm tap water can be mixed together to create a cleaning solution. Apply the mixture to the stained carpet area using a brush. Allow it to sit for some time, then rinse with a damp rag. It may be necessary to apply the solution repeatedly for stubborn stains. Borax and VinegarSome stains may be so difficult to remove that vinegar alone might not work. In order to remove such stains, vinegar needs the assistance of other substances. Mix equal amounts of vinegar, salt and borax to form a paste. After applying the paste, let it dry and then vacuum clean it. The cream of tartar can be used to remove ink stains. Apply a little lemon juice as well. Vacuum the carpet after the paste dries.Ammonia, DetergentAmmonia can be used to clean carpets in conjunction with liquid soap or detergent. Always wear gloves when using ammonia. Preparing a solution with liquid soap (preferably based on vegetable oil), mild laundry detergent, and ammonia is the next step.
Baking soda and Essential OilsYou can use baking soda with essential oils to eliminate bad smells. This is especially useful for pets. Mix the two products together and sprinkle the mixture over the carpet. Vacuum it after about 20-30 minutes. Baking Soda with Cornflour & Bay LeavesBaking soda can be used along with cornflour & bay leaves to clean your carpet. This mixture can be deodorized by adding potpourri. Before adding the bay leaf mixture to the cornflour, mix the leaves in a blender. The powder can be left on your carpet overnight and removed the following morning. Use a vacuum without the beater attachment for daily carpet cleaning. The attachment can weaken or damage the fibers. If you spill liquid or solid on your carpet, make sure to wipe it up immediately. Otherwise, the stain will settle into the fibers. Don't scrub your carpet when cleaning. You should dry your carpet completely after you have cleaned it with water. If not, mold and mildew will grow. Try a commercial or home-made cleaning product on a small inconspicuous spot before using it to avoid possible damage. Commercial carpet cleaners can be hired if the commercial and homemade cleaners do not remove tough stains.
